DisplayPort - HDMI cables

DisplayPort - HDMI cables are used to connect a computer with DisplayPort output to a screen / TV with HDMI input. The cable also transfers audio, so if the computer's DisplayPort output supports it, and the screen has speakers or an audio output you can transfer both video and audio with these cables.

Note that the cable does not work the other way around, for example from an HDMI interface to a DisplayPort interface.
