DVI cables and adapters
DVI-A DVI-A (DVI-Analog) supports only analog signal. DVI-D DVI-D (DVI-Digital) supports only digital signal.
DVI-IDVI-I (DVI-Integrated) supports both analog and digital signal.
Dual Link vs. Single Link
The biggest difference between Dual Link and Single Link cables is that the maximum resolution with Single Link cables is 1902 x 1080 and with Dual Link cables 2048 x 1536.
